Welcome to the capital of Nepal! Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink and trip briefing. Take time to relax and soak in your first impressions of this vibrant city filled with tradition, temples, and Himalayan charm.

Today, visit Boudhanath Stupa, a sacred Buddhist site with prayer wheels and chanting monks. Discover Bhaktapur’s Durbar Square and meet local artisans. Later, explore Patan, famed for its Newari architecture and ancient courtyards. In the evening, enjoy a cultural dance performance during a traditional Nepali dinner.

Travel overland to Chitwan, Nepal’s renowned wildlife sanctuary. After checking in and lunch, explore the surrounding Tharu villages or take an introductory jungle walk. Chitwan offers a peaceful contrast to the capital, surrounded by lush forests and the calls of exotic birds and animals.

Spend the day immersed in nature. Enjoy a canoe ride along the Rapti River, spotting crocodiles and birdlife. Join a jeep safari or elephant safari through the jungle, with chances to see rhinos, deer, wild boars, and maybe even a Bengal tiger. Return for a Tharu cultural show.

Depart Chitwan and journey toward the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara. En route, marvel at Nepal’s changing landscape. Once in Pokhara, enjoy views of the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre, also known as Fishtail Mountain. Spend the evening walking along the lakeside promenade or relaxing at a café.

Start your day with a sunrise over the Annapurnas from the World Peace Pagoda. Walk through Raniban forest down to Lake Phewa for a peaceful boat ride. Visit a Tibetan refugee camp, local school, and Matepani Monastery to observe monks chanting in their evening prayers.

Take a short morning flight to Kathmandu. In the afternoon, explore Swayambhunath Stupa for panoramic views, then walk to Kathmandu Durbar Square. End with a rickshaw ride from Hanuman Dhoka to Thamel, winding through lively backstreets filled with local shops, temples, and colorful street life.
